 Week 1 - Day 1
Started doodling shortly after Maverick posted in IRC that the competition had started. I don't have a final layout yet, but I started working anyway.  Here's the work in progress shots for the contest: wip1.pngwip2.pngwip3.png And a quick test build of the map:  For some reason when I try to launch the game after a build into cnq3, it wont load the map. It only works if I put the map in a pk3. Is there an easy way to launch into the CPMA mod after a build?

Be sure sv_pure is set to '0'.

It's really obvious that you are from W§W-Background because of the type of architecture you use.

I decided that this map wasn't going to live up to my expectations. After thinking about it for a bit, I decided that I didn't have enough game knowledge to make a TDM map; so I'm going to make a duel map instead. I liked the "Mars Bunker/Base" theme I was working on, so I'll keep that the same, but I will start the map from scratch. Wip Screenshot

I would suggest you to leave the rounded-room (former quad-room) in your map. It really looks cool and its simply perfect for MH or RA (probably ad a 2nd tier-platform so the player who collects the RA can be attacked from various positions.

I liked the look of the original! Was just thinking that every map I've seen so far has some terrain/natural feature in it. Kudos to Ydnar, Sock and Kat for influencing just about every body
