 DM_SomethingToBigForMeAsUsual_map23 - g0th
got some crazy ideas for this one. I will probably just do a cooled theme thing and try some things out in the q3 engine that's been in my head for a long time. I may or may not incloud dwarfs.

That is truly gorgeous work g0th. Did you hand paint the bricks on the arches?
I can't wait to see this lit up!

 Re: DM_SomethingToBigForMeAsUsual_map23 - g0th
Thanks guys the bricks on the arches are sculpted and then baked into the lowpoly model along with a few texture maps. In photoshop I just blend some cgtextures together and then mix them with the baked out textures and this is basically the result I get from that. Its funny how this workflow of making textures get this kind of handpainted feeling. I havent even used my wacom in photoshop making them one really nice addition when you work on things this way is that you can just arange the sculpted parts differently and do a new lowpoly and bake it out, then just copy the old photoshop file with the new baked textures added and youre done. altough they are not completely done I will add a dirt pass on them once I get a bit further on the map.
